Barbara Levine runs Project B, a curatorial services and project management company focusing on vintage photography and other curiosities. She's put out a new book, Around the World: The Grand Tour in Photo Albums, published by the good folks at Princeton Architectural Press.
My friends at Princeton sent me an advanced copy of Barbara's new book, which is a compilation of personal diaries from the turn of the century. It's loaded with eccentric photographs and ephemera that evoke the pleasures and art de vivre of a time when travel was an art in itself.
